 ESWC 2006 Summary |
|
|
Club Forum has once again presented itself as a regional leader in electronic sports. 26 national representatives from four countries: Serbia & Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Macedonia, under the "wing" of Club Forum, have represented their countries at the World Cup in Paris with grace. Not only that they achieved far better results than expected, but the Croatian representative, Ivica Markovic, managed to win third place in the Warcraft discipline, a take home a check for 9.000$
Club Forum has already begun the preparations for yet another ESWC competition season - 2006/2007 and works even harder to promote electronic sport in the region and support the players in their effort to advance and improve themselves.

The ESWC 2006 Club Forum Tour is over. This years Club Forum Tour finished with big success gathering several thousands of players in all four preliminaries.

The „RTS“ television crew will be present on the Grand finals in Paris, and from the spot will record the atmosphere of the World Cup as well as the competion of our teams and players competing for one of the medals.

The Croatian peliminaries will be held in the Museum „MIMAR“ in Zagreb
Player registration fees will be accepted by the Club Forum officials on Saturday the 10th of June before the begining of the competion.

The Macedonian peliminaries will be held in the Internet club ENTERNET in Skopje.
Player registration fees will be accepted by the Club Forum officials on the day of the competion.

| APPLICATIONS AND FEES - SRBIJA I CRNA GORA |

Fees will be accepted in Club FORUM from Monday, 22nd of May till Friday 26th of May, 2006.
Thursday, 19.00 hrs is the deadline for submitting new contestants/ team applications. All contestants must pay their registration fees on Friday, at 14.00hrs at the latest in Club FORUM.
Only the contestants, who reside out of Belgrade, can pay their fees before the preliminaries start, on Saturday and Sunday. This only applies to registered contestants.
It is preferable, for contestants who reside out of Belgrade, to pay their fees till Friday 26th , personally or through a friend.

Applications for the Masters Discipline have begun in Croatia and Macedonia. Winners of this discipline, unfortunately, won’t go to Paris this year, but will be competing for some valuable prizes.

ESWC 2006 Serbia & Montenegro Qualifications for ESWC 2006 World Cup will be held on 27th and 28th of May, organized by Club FORUM. It will be held in Dom Omladine, Belgrade under the patronage of the City government.

This year ESWC offered us a completely new discipline, designed especially for ESWC 2006 - Trackmania Nations ESWC. This driving simulation is free and you can download it from the ESWC official site and start practicing for the Finals! Prize fund for this discipline only is 40.000 $.

| The Final Tournament in Bercy Arena |

The Final Tournament - Electronic Sports World Cup 2006 will be held in the magnificent sport arena Bercy from 27th of June till 2nd of July 2006 in Paris. 800 contestants from over 50 countries will “fight” for honor and the prize fund 400.000$. Last year the final tournament ESWC 2005 also in Paris, in the Luvre Complex had a live audience of 24.000 people. This year the expected number is 40.000!
